Purpose The mission of Main Street Collierville is to preserve and enhance the Town Square as the Heart of Collierville; to communicate a sense of community pride, heritage, and small town wholesomeness; and to provide for a successful business and residential environment.
Main Street revitalization is a comprehensive, incremental, self-help economic strategy that focuses on developing public-private partnerships in order to enhance community livability and job creation while maintaining the historic character of the district. Success is realized through the Four Point approach of the National Trust Main Street Center. Four areas are design, promotion, organization and economic restructuring.
Main Street Collierville is a member representing Collierville in the following organizations:
. Memphis Convention & Visitors Bureau . Tennessee Preservation Trust . Memphis Metro Attractions Associations . National Trust for Historic Preservation . Tennessee Civil War Preservation Association . Memphis Metro Attractions Association
Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. We welcome involvement in our program of work committees and community events.
Main Street Collierville is a non-profit, tax exempt 501(c)3 organization, that works diligently through its membership/sponsorships to track the ties that bind the heritage of the community. A year-round calendar of events and historic happenings continue to forge the link between past and present small town charm and the sophistication of urban growth.
