Purpose The purpose of Leadership Collierville is to heighten the quantity, quality, and effectiveness of community leaders in Collierville.
The program goals are to provide a 9-month program for adult community leaders and a 7-month program for youth (high school sophomores and juniors) designed to:
. help leaders increase their leadership skills; facilitate awareness on issues that impact our community . provide educational and training strategies that encourage continuous development of community leadership abilities . provide the sharing of knowledge about community leadership on a wide-range of initiatives . create an opportunity to network within the community.
The needs of Leadership Collierville include volunteers from the previous class to be day chairs for the next year, in-kind donations from the town of Collierville for use of the double decker bus and the board chambers and monetary donations to help support our program.
Funding is obtained through program fees, sponsorships, alumni dues and donations. The cost to go through the class is $750 for adults and $350 for students.
