Application Process for Collierville Community Fund Grants
Grants will be awarded to non-profit organizations benefiting Collierville area residents and located in Collierville or that provide programs based in Collierville. Activities eligible for funding include education, health, culture, the arts, human services and community development. The Collierville Community Fund will not make grants to individuals.
Decisions to make grants from the Collierville Community Fund will be based upon the philosophy of the Fund and upon specific criteria . Applications for grants are due at the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis, 1900 Union Avenue, Memphis, TN 38014 by noon on July 1, 2011. Information to be included when applying include:
_____ Completed Application for Funding _____ Information on the proposed project (Part B - Questions 1-8) _____ Line item budget for the proposed project showing all sources of anticipated revenue (cash and in-kind) and the projected use of the Collierville Community Fund grant. _____ Time-line for the proposed project _____ List of officers and directors of your organization _____ A copy of your 501(c)(3) tax-exemption letter or for your organization's fiscal agent. If using a fiscal agent, please include a letter from that organization stating their willingness to serve as such. _____ Latest annual report or audit. If not available, your most recent financial statement is acceptable. _____ A letter of endorsement from a Town of Collierville official if your project involves cooperation with or participation from the Town of Collierville.
Th Collierville Community Fund does not consider incomplete applications for grants. Please carefully review the list above to ensure that you have not forgotten anything.
A pre-application workshop will be held to review the application process and answer questions that your organization or agency may have on May 18, 2011 at 3:00pm at the Collierville Chamber of Commerce. If your agency has never received a Collierville Community Fund grant, a staff or board member from your agency must attend for your application to be considered.
Please be aware that a final report for all grants is required. Final reports are due October 31, 2012.
