Nonprofit organizations offering programs and services that benefit the Collierville community are eligible to apply for grants from the Collierville Community Fund. The Fund generally invests in activities that mobilize community assets, enhance the historic and small-town qualities of Collierville and increase the capacity of individuals, organizations and institutions to build on Collierville's strengths. Eligible projects include those in education, health, human services, art, cultural and community development.
Some characteristics that strengthen a grant application include: . Investment of time and resources by the intended beneficiaries in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the proposed project. . Evidence of collaboration with other community groups. . A plan for continuing the project beyond the funding period. . An explanation of how the proposed activity will contribute to enhancing the quality of life in Collierville.
Grants are not awarded for core operating expenses or to individuals.
Organizations wishing to apply for a grant from the Collierville Community Fund should complete a grant application form, which may be obtained by contacting the Collierville Community Fund at the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis at (901) 728-4600.
